This is a basement Georgian kitchen with black limestone flooring, yellow shaker cabinets and open and freestanding kitchen island. The worktop was a cherry marble with a beautiful bevel edge.
‘The owners described the existing decor as 'bankers’ grey', and were quite happy to erase all memories of it,’. Alongside making the house colourful, cozy and warm, they wanted to restore the original features in this house that had been stripped out during the house’s grey era, and changing the functions of some rooms.
